Specials   IRLZ44N 55Volt, 47Amp Mosfet for only $0.89!

Pulse generators keep a constant controlled production of your electrolyzer or fuel cell.  It controls amperage draw and in most cases allows for more production for energy used.  Otherwise, the electrolyzer will overheat and deteriorate prematurely.  I encourage you to look at any others available on the market and please read the fine print.  These will produce hydrogen hooked up to an electrolyzer and I have the videos to prove it.  We also have references.

Here are some we offer that work and come with a Warranty!

Pulse Generator (Advanced) $129.00                          Purchase This Product
Generally for the person who experiments with everything.

  • Custom Frequency Range (Extremely Adjustable)
  • Wide Range of Adjustment
  • 169 Amp capability (changeable by request)
  • LED for observing frequency (Choice of green, red or blue)
  • For 6 to 18 volts DC. (adjustable)
  • Large variety of options:
This model was tested at 14 Amps with no overheating.  Although the pulse generator is capable of 3 times that amount, 12 guage wiring and a cars charging system is not.

*  A couple of important things to know is:
1.  A Mosfet with the most amperage is not always a good thing.  They have an Avalanche rating and are designed for specific uses.  They also have a continuous rating which is considerably less than its maximum rating.  Although a mosfet can be rated at 80 Amps, it can be as low as 20 Amps if you are putting too much resistance on it.  You can read this at Wikipedia or any other electronics resource that a mosfet CANNOT take a constant 6 or more amps without eventually failing or oversaturating.  In some cases you must use a relay. They are not designed to be shorted out and putting two electrodes in water is a short.  This is why other manufacturers do not specify a warranty.  (Yes, we warranty ours and no, I won't tell you how I do it).  This does however limit the actual rating of the mosfet.

2.  Transistors have limits on their switching speed. Real high frequencies will normally be a waist of money.  I will gladly explain what components work and why others will not.  The circuit to the transistor is important because it needs to completely switch on and off to last long and handle amperage.  Ammeters and excess electronics use the energy a transistor needs to switch properly.

All of the pulse generators are made from surplus boxes made of quality material from the USA.  They have rubber pads and are built rugged.  They are not a copy of the Meyers or Lawton design.  These are built much better and can withstand higher amperage.

Please read information on our website or email before purchasing the midrange or advanced models.   It can often change your thinking on how you want it designed.

If you need more than the advanced handheld, I suggest the 110V signal generator

1 Hz to 2 Mhz.  Does sine, square, and triangle waves.  Also has digital frequency readout.  Not recommended for producing hydrogen.  It would require a relay or modification.  Only $129.99.

If you have a quality item which works, I can list it on our website.

I want to encourage you to look at some of the videos and do research before you spend money on something which may not work for you.  Our stuff page has many tried experiments which may or may not save you time and money.  We replaced the BUZ350 with a higher amperage and avalanche Mosfet.

These are just a few boards and pulse generators we have tested.  Please read hydrogen facts before buying these from Ebay.

The standard PWM
DC Speed Controllers.
Not very good for producing hydrogen.

The Reversing DC speed controller.
I have no idea why this would be used as a hydrogen pulse generator.

Bob Boyce board layout.
lots of electronics.

Other pulse generator not
much of an amplifying circuit.

This is the new one I am building.
A bit too big for today's technology.
(I am not kidding).

This one looks great and is
built well but still needs to
be modified to handle loads.

A few of these show up.
These really need to be modified.

Heat Sink
A standard heat sink for a small plate electrolyzer should be a good size to handle heat,  Not be the size of your thumb.

Definition: (from dictionary.com)
Electronics
.
a metallic heat exchanger designed to absorb and dissipate excess heat from one of the devices, as a transistor or resistor, in a circuit.
